The Planning & Zoning Department strives to ensure the orderly growth and development of the City. This is done by reviewing land development projects for consistency with the City’s Unified Land Use and Development Regulations; reviewing zoning applications and issuing permits; updating the City’s Master Plan, and developing special studies to analyze City-wide resources to ensure capacity exists to support changes. Close coordination with other City departments and community partners is a must to maintain the high-level customer service that is the hallmark of our Planning & Zoning efforts.
