Introduction & History

The Main Street Revitalization project includes the complete modernization of infrastructure on Main Street including new water, stormwater/wastewater utility infrastructure, improved pedestrian and bike amenities, undergrounding the telecom and cable lines, and rebuilt sidewalks and streetscapes. 4.9.21 - Right of Way Notice

The Main Street Revitalization Project is targeting a construction start in the spring of 2022. Maintaining clear communication with residents and property owners during the project is a priority for the City. Therefore, we are requesting contact information from each household and business located within the current project area. If you own or rent a residence or business in the current project area, the Department of Public Works will be leaving door hangers with a request for contact information. You can receive future updates about the project by doing one of the following:

  • If you have internet access, please complete the online info intake form here.
  • If you do not have internet access, please call 802 734 0022 leave a voicemail with your name, street address, and daytime phone number.

If you are a property owner, please review the latest draft of the project's Right of Way plans. The City will require a temporary easement or permanent easement or both from most property owners in the project area. Please contact us at your earliest convenience to discuss the ROW process:
